Missionview Saddle Club of Tucson originated in 1957. It was initially established as a saddle club involved in trail riding and parades. It is the longest active saddle club in the Tucson area. In 1963 Missionview became a gymkhana club. It held its first gymkhanas at the Holiday Isle Mobile Home Park on Ajo Way. Missionview is a non-profit organization. We are a family oriented association with an emphasis on gymkhana for riders of all ages. Most important are our young riders. We hope to assist them in learning to ride in a friendly atmosphere while at the same time create an interest in gymkhana and instill confidence and direction in their riding.
Every person has the opportunity to become a member of Missionview Saddle Club for a nominal yearly fee. Each member will receive points when they ride within their age group and at the end of the year awards will be giving out to those who qualify. Members also have a chance to vote on important decisions such as rules, events and officers.
